Help with Federal Agencies
As your Congressman, one of my most important responsibilities is to help you work with the federal government and federal agencies. If you have a problem, I am able to make an inquiry on your behalf.
First, please contact my Nashville office (615-736-5295) to connect with the appropriate caseworker.
Second, you will need to return a completed Privacy_Act_Release_Form for us to begin working on your case.
My staff can help with matters involving the following government agencies and programs. Click on the links to below for more information on how this process works with each agency.
- EEOC & Workers' Compensation Issues
- Foreclosure Prevention, HUD Housing Issues
- Applications for citizenship
- Permanent residency

- Disability questions
- Supplemental security income
- Student Financial Aid
- United States Postal Service

We are able to give your case to the proper officials and guide you through the process, but we are unable to order an agency to decide a matter in your favor. My jurisdiction is limited to federal issues.
Please note: Members of Congress are prohibited from getting involved in court cases or recommending attorneys.
