COOPER RECOGNIZES RETIRED MNPS TEACHER'S DEDICATION TO STUDENTS
WASHINGTON—Eva Morrman,
a former Metro Nashville Public School teacher, retired from Hillwood High
School in Nashville in September of 2008. Ms. Morrman is currently in
Ms. Morrman stopped by
Congressman Cooper’s office on her way to the event, where the Congressman
thanked her for her years of dedicated service to MNPS.
“Ms.
Morrman, it is an honor to have you visit in
“Read to the Top,” the
Department of Education’s weekly summer reading campaign, features a variety of
children’s books read to children by leading Administration officials. The
campaign aims to combat the potential decline in children’s reading achievement
over the summer by finding new ways to give children access to books during
summer break.

Department meeting, Ms. Moran stated that she was thrilled to be in DC with her
