Cooper Announces Nearly $5 Million in CDC Funding to Address Health Disparities

NASHVILLE – Today Rep. Jim Cooper (TN-05) announced the Center for Disease Control (CDC) awarded Davidson Co. $4,930,248 a grant to address COVID-19 health disparities.

“We know the COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately affected low-income and minority communities,” Rep. Jim Cooper said. “I’m thankful this funding will go to helping ensure everyone gets vaccinated and has access to the care they need.”
